Eggnog sitting on grocery shelves
Working hard is Santa’s elves
Charlie Brown and Rudolf glows
And all the older Christmas shows
That’s what makes it feel like Christmas
Winters here and summers gone
And so begins the Christmas songs
Christmas trees fill window pains
Drizzled snow and sleeted rain
That’s what makes it feel like Christmas
Shoppers fight the hurried crowd
Carolers out and singing loud
Empty trees hold mistletoe
Christmas lights are all aglow
That’s what makes it feel like Christmas
Hot chocolate warming on the eye
Snow flakes falling from the sky
Gifts are scattered around the tree
Children counting one, two, three
That’s what makes it feel like Christmas
A Saviour born rests in a manger
Stillness night away from danger
A mother, father begins to sing
Happy birthday to the King
That’s what makes it feel like Christmas
